Anyway, because he didn't see the text.
Hey. Mike's on, and I think we're good.
Alright. Good afternoon. We will call this regular meeting of the city plan commission to order. It is 04:46PM on Tuesday, June 16. Let's start with a roll call.
Megan DeSanto, legal counsel.
And I have Michael Gazzacco, chair. We have the minutes from the May 19 meeting to review and approve. All of you should have received them prior to this meeting. If you have any edits or corrections, please say so now or submit for a motion to approve the minutes as drafted.
You make a motion to approve?
You have a motion to approve? Do we have a second?
Alright. All in we have a motion to approve the minutes. All in favor of approving the minutes as drafted, say aye. Aye. Any opposed?
Any abstentions? The minutes pass. Moving along to director's report, mister Azzone.
Okay. Not much to report, other than we are in the process of trying to replace Lev Simon, our dear dear departed. I love departed is the right
But, he did depart. The planning technician, we've, we're going through the process. We have we have a lot of good candidates, so, hopefully, we'll, we'll have someone in place soon because we need we need someone desperately in that position. The only other thing I wanted to ask is about the July meeting. We've originally scheduled it for July 14, and we had set out a, a request to consider changing that date.
I think the twenty eighth looked good.
I saw four positive responses for the twenty eighth at least. We have four for the twenty eighth,
Rachel's not available then. But but we have four without I Mhmm.
Okay. Alright. Sounds like we'll be able to
do that. So So we will we'll make a statement now that we're moving the the July meeting from the fourteenth to the twentieth on '26.
Alright. Thank you, Bob. Moving into our first agenda item, let's look for the minor subdivision to request for extension case number 24Dash076UDR.
Can I you wanna introduce this one?
Sure, commissioner. So this is a request for a one year extension of, minus subdivision with UBR at 16 To 22 Grove Street. As you will recall, it involved subdividing a lot so that the buildings were on separate lots. And the applicants here, and they can tell us why this extension is being requested.
Thank you. Good afternoon. So the reason this is being extended one Can identify yourself? Oh, yeah. The record after Bordoni, council on behalf of Billner.
Gotcha. So the there was a bigger change granted back in July. It took a couple months for us to get an updated plan, so that way we could submit for the zoning certificate for compliance. That was done in December. And then, obviously, December is kind of the off season for, you know, doing, work outside.
So it took a little bit we had to wait a little bit for that. We are in the process of getting design certificate for compliance approved. We have a partial pass. The only thing, the two things that were noted on that partial pass were to put in the tree that was to be placed in the rear yard and to put vehicle stops at the parking spaces. The vehicle stops have in place.
I was hoping to have the tree in this this past weekend. My client informed me that that was not done, so I was hoping for this week. We're asking for a year just to play it safe. I'm very hopeful that it should not come anywhere close to that, but we are near the end of this, and we just unfortunately need a little bit more time just to to get this thing wrapped up.
Commissioners, do you have any questions for the applicant? This is that one where we were talking about driveway. Yeah. The driveways and the earth against the foundation and stuff like that. We you know this one.
So after this is done, after the tree is planted into the top.
Once they get a zoning certificate, they're able to submit their their final bill once subdivision. Yeah. Do effectuate it.
So, yeah, we're we're fine with grading, double time extension.
Okay. This is just an extension request, so we don't take public comment. I don't make a motion and have any other questions that we have.
Make a motion to accept this feature over here. I'll second.
All in favor of the one year extension, say aye. Aye. Any opposition? Any abstentions? K.
Good luck. Thank you. Moving on to, agenda item number two, the city council referral referral number 3617 abandonment of a portion of Western Street.
Sure. And commissioners, a quick introduction. So as you will see, this is a request to abandon a portion of Western Street. It's right at the end at the place where Western Street terminates, and you see it's a little square that's bounded on either side by lots that are owned by the petitioner. So the petitioner wishes to abandon that portion so they could incorporate that part of the street into their property.
So petitioner's here, and they can tell us more
