Call to Order and Roll Call

The meeting of the Providence Board of Contracts and Supply is called to order, and roll call is taken to establish a quorum. Seven members are present and five are absent.

Election of Chairperson

A motion is made and seconded to elect a chairperson for the meeting. The motion passes unanimously.

Motion to Open Bids (Section B)

The board entertains a motion to proceed to Section B of the agenda for the opening of bids. The motion is seconded and approved by the members.

Section B, Item 1: Actuarial Services

The board opens bids for a three-year contract for actuarial services for the Office of the Internal Auditor. Three bids are received and recorded from US Consulting Group, Halton Partners, and the Seener Company.

Section B, Item 2: Cavarro Park Site Improvements

Bids are opened for site improvements at Cavarro Park for the Department of Parks. Four bids are received from Yardworks Inc, DuBond Masonry, Zytec Corporation, and Lucena Brothers Inc.

Section B, Item 8: Legal Services

Bids are opened for a three-year contract with two one-year options for legal services related to the Providence Redevelopment Agency. Two bids are received from Adler Pollock & Sheehan and Locke Lord LLP.

Section B, Item 9: On-Call Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing Services

The board addresses on-call mechanical, electrical, and plumbing services for a three-year contract with two one-year options. A motion is made to move or table this item.

Section B, Item 10: Department of Public Works Item
