Based upon the testimony concerning the incident itself and the ongoing threat to public safety as testified to by a member of the License Enforcement Unit of the Providence Police Department, the Board voted pursuant to its powers under the Home Rule Charter, Section 1102 (b)(3), to suspend all licenses (including but not limited to Alcohol Class BV, Food Dispenser, Holiday Sales) issued by it, effective this date 12:00 PM, until this matter can be heard as a Show Cause Hearing scheduled for Thursday, March 5, 2026 at 4:30 PM in the Probate Courtroom, 5th Floor, Providence City Hall. The vote was unanimous with Ayes from Mancini, Rogel, and Quezada; Akinbi and Ochoa were absent.
