Thank you, madam Kirk. I'm actually going to ask my members of the committee to combine items one and two, waive the reading, and substitute I had a substitution for item two. I'm correcting the title on from twenty twenty one fifty two to twenty twenty one fifty. I have to document the case entered. So when I have that motion, it looks like motion made by councilwoman in the second by councilman Santos.
All in favor, I aye. Then they close. I have it. Motion carries. Okay.
So we have one and two together. We've already kind of read one. I'm not gonna make you read two. However, it is my understanding and belief that these matters are not ready to move forward. That's why I was waiting for the city solicitor to join us.
I asked both for a quick review today to affirm that we need a little bit more time on these. And unless you have discern something else, then you want to find that wisdom on this.
I can understand, nobody in the law department has reviewed these drafts. It it doesn't necessarily mean that they're bad drafts. It might be Okay. Just nobody has reviewed them in my life. Someone's been asked to review them.
Fair enough. Let's at that with that information, I'd like to make a request for a motion to continue building these items for additional work, and they'll come before us as soon as we possibly can. Then have that motion. The motion made by councilman Andelot, Kevin by councilman Santos. They don't have only opposed.
I just have a motion carries. I have two one of the two are continue, and thank you very much to those today. We know I brought your attention to that late today. Okay. Need now the court took the time to read, I'm
gonna hurry into the. Communication prompted honor the mayor dated 10/25/2025 informing the honorable members of the Sage Council that pursuant to section three zero two b of his following form of the started of 1980 as amended in public laws chapter 45 through 50 sections one through 31 passed in 1987. Did you mind? Yeah. Can look at that. Yeah. Okay.
Do we have resumes for the other other appointment? Oh, it's a bit
of No. They get it. Okay.
My colleagues an opportunity to to review your rest. I'm sure it's stunning and a lot of safety.
I would expect nothing less than worth reading.
Ready to enter this? No. No. Okay. Really?
It just wasn't properly for us. Okay. Mister McCray, you guys comfortable with the resume? You want just another second? No.
It's taken out here. Okay. Why don't you take another second? Good. Yeah.
Good. Everybody good? Okay. How's your operation good? Are you okay?
No. I'm just Oh, formulate my questions. I know. Okay. Alright.
We're coming on a recess, and we have a wonderful candidate in front of us that has been appointed to the Providence Public Building Authority, Eugene McCray. You've been sworn in. Could you please tell us a little bit about yourself? And now that we have you're resonating for us, we need more information about you. Sure.
But share with us who you are on, you know, what you've done in the past and and why you would like to serve on this board, very important board of the city.
Sure. Well, I I've been a commercial real estate broker for almost twenty years. My wife and I and our bridge over moved to Providence full time in 2021. She's from here. Her dad's one of 14 brothers and sisters that all live in Rhode Island.
So we had owned a house right next to Mary and across the street from her parents on 7th Street for a number of years so that she could come back and see them. And then during the pandemic, she wasn't able to be back here, and she wanted to, for a long time, move back here. So we moved in right in middle of COVID with Puppy and pretty small children. And we were able to find a house close by in that neighborhood, and we've been living there since. I work basically across the country in commercial real estate, do all sorts of different projects.
I work work on behalf of municipalities. I've worked on behalf of hospital authorities, worked on behalf of data centers, and just all sorts of people, doctors, lawyers, engineers, and their commercial real estate. So I have experience with like I said, I've worked for the public hospital authority in East Bay, which is the safety net hospital system on their their foundation board for ten years. I worked with the CEO there for fifteen Mhmm. 33 different CEOs.
So they have the same kind of responsibilities as that authority. So this seemed like a very good fit. Like I said, I live here I timed off of turned off of the health system authority in California, New York State. This was a very pleasant surprise to be offered this this position. Something I care about.
I live here, and it's something I ever bought back for leasing.
Many members, any questions? Any thoughts?
Quick question. One, thank you so much. This is amazing. So many. I don't know if that's.
We've met a community. About a sign. What? What are doing? Yes.
