Regarding Complaints and Operations at "Side Bar" or "Event Space". Licensee appeared and noise complaints regarding this location were discussed. The "bar side" / "event space" recently acquired was also discussed on what is permitted and what is not. It was explained that since they own this space, it is tied to a liquor license and anything that happens here becomes their responsibility. If they wish to include this as part of their floor plan in the future, a Permanent Expansion of Premises application will be required, and they will be required to appear before the Board for review & approval contingent upon all other approvals such as but not limited to Building & Fire.

Monthly Entertainment Application 25-982 Month of December - Add-on dates for 18+ requests: Friday, 12/12/2025, Friday, 12/19/2025, Friday, 12/26/2025, Wednesday, 12/31/2025. This liquor license renewal for 2026 has been approved contingent upon the licensee applying for an upgraded license at their request. Communications from the representing attorney was received on 11/19/2025 advising the Licensing Department that they are working on resolving the discrepancy of not just a Permanent Expansion of Premises without the necessary approvals, but also the beer garden across the street at 479 Douglas Avenue which requires permitting or the use of the space must cease at once. City Ordinance Sec. 14-1 - Causing a disturbance in the neighborhood; RIGL § 3-5-21 - Breach by Licensee; RIGL § 3-5-23 - Permitting the house to become disorderly or otherwise violating any of the laws of the State of RI to be violated. Recommendation Accepted - The 30-day mandated Police Detail remains, and in addition to the original agreement rejected by the Board on 11/6/2025, issued a seven (7) day closure which is consistent with progressive discipline in accordance with the Boards' current Rules & Regulations/ Operations & Procedure.
