Providence City Council Meeting | October 16th, 2025

Call to Order and Roll Call

The meeting was called to order, and the clerk conducted the roll call of council members. A quorum was established with eleven members present and three absent.

Invocation

Councilman John Gonsalves delivered the invocation, expressing gratitude for the city of Providence and praying for guidance, unity, and compassion. He highlighted the importance of supporting vulnerable populations, including the unhoused and sick.

Pledge of Allegiance

Item 12: Community Relations Act Amendments

Item 15: Trash Barrels Ordinance
