Chairwoman Helen Anthony called the Committee on Finance meeting to order and roll call was conducted. A quorum was established with four members present and one member absent.

Resolution on Change Order No. 2 for Merit Construction

The committee considered a $98,010 change order for Merit Construction regarding Hope High School auditorium renovations. Following discussion on safety railings, air conditioning, and fire alarm work, the motion to approve was passed.

Resolution on Contract Award to Dineo Manufacturing Company

The committee discussed a $35,558.75 contract award to cover historical building maintenance costs under a Providence Public Building Authority lease. After reviewing procurement procedures and funding sources, the committee voted to approve the measure.

Resolution on Contract Award to Studio JAED

The committee reviewed a $378,525.25 contract award to Studio JAED for construction administration services at Pleasant View Elementary and Classical High School. Following a briefing on the project background and contract structure, the committee voted to approve the resolution.

Motion to Waive the Reading of Agenda Items 4 through 8

FY2026 Budget Review: Department of Public Telecommunications
