Progress on Energy Efficiency and Decarbonization Policy Implementation

Alex Ellis from the Department of Planning and Development presented the development of the city's Vision Zero action plan and high-priority traffic safety network. The committee reviewed proposed infrastructure tools, crash data analysis, and strategies to eliminate traffic fatalities by 2030.

Members of the public provided feedback and raised questions regarding traffic calming tools, camera enforcement, walk audits, and sidewalk snow clearance. Council members and the presenter engaged with the public to address pedestrian safety concerns across city neighborhoods.
