Thank you. Can you please read item one?
Item number one, resolution requesting an assessment on behalf of the Naragansha Electric Company, a domestic utility currently doing business at Rhode Island Energy over, under, and across a portion of city owned land located at 254 Eastwood Avenue, assessors flat one zero seven, lot one one one, running alongside Interstate 95.
Okay. Do we have any discussion on this, I am... Who... Who's representing this? Mike?.
Do we need to be this way?
No. Think it goes. Yeah. I think that. Thank you, chairman, members of the committee for the opportunity to speak on this.
It's pretty straightforward. What you have in front of you is an easement, and it's an electrical easement for construction of Garner Spaziano School. They need to install a transformer in order to turn the power on. And in order to install that transformer, they need an easement granted from the city. So by granting this easement, this resolution for this easement, you will allow this transformer to be, installed, which will turn the power on and will allow for construction that has already started to continue on schedule.
So for Spassiano School, like, it's about a two year project. It's a full rebuild. The students are just moving across the street because they're just building the school right across the street, And this is just one part of the construction needs to happen. There might be some other easements that might come before the committee. Sometimes we have sewer easements.
Sometimes we have mechanical easements. This is an electrical one. So it's just a procedural thing that would allow construction to continue on time. Great.
you. Anything for education, I'm I'm I'm a 100% sure. I'm trying to have great schools, great schools, new schools for our students that are coming on and getting. Any other questions? No?
Jerry, I just wanna say, Michael, thank you for your leadership on this.
