Call to Order, Roll Call, and Election of Chairperson

12:10 - 13:18

The meeting was called to order and the clerk conducted roll call establishing a quorum. The board voted to elect a chairperson for the meeting and noted the presence of the Senior Assistant City Solicitor.

Section B: Opening of Bids

13:18 - 17:50

The board opened and read bids for various city department procurements including park equipment, police ammunition, property leasing, and snow control. The board voted to refer all opened bids to the City Clerk's office.

Section C: Advertisements

17:50 - 18:21

The board moved into Section C to review and approve scheduled public advertisements. A motion was passed to approve the advertisements and re-advertise the property lease for Camp Cronin.

Section E, Item 1: Liquidated Damages in Contracts

18:21 - 20:17

The board discussed potential penalties and liquidated damages for vendor noncompliance with First Source requirements and MBE participation goals. A motion was approved to continue this item to the next meeting.

Section E, Item 2: School Construction Update

20:17 - 21:30

The board addressed a request for year-to-date updates regarding school construction and vendor locations. The item was formally continued to the next meeting pending the completion and distribution of the report.

Section A: Review and Approval of Items 1-24

21:30 - 36:58

Members discussed various contracts including automotive repairs, appraisal services, vehicle trade-ins, OPM contracts, and solar project financing. Following minor text amendments, items 1 through 24 were approved on a roll call vote.

Section D: Approval of Minutes

The board moved to Section D to consider the meeting minutes from December 16, 2024. The minutes were approved with one member abstaining.

A motion was made and seconded to adjourn the final meeting of the year. The motion passed unanimously and the meeting adjourned.
