Sorry, having a human services department. And there is no capital in this budget. And if I may, I'd like to turn it over to to our end login to make
some opening remarks about this department. Sure. Thank you, Dore.
Great. Thank you very much. Happy to acknowledge my my one year in the last month, and in that time, it's been a pleasure and a joy to work through some of the projects and initiatives that we inherited from the prior administration to make sure that those were navigated successfully or by... Along to a level of independence that we hope to resolve in the near future. We were able to further dig into the comprehensive plan process, which has been going on with rate affirmative activity throughout the past year all throughout the city and through the neighborhoods.
Now we're very important from proposals to written chapters, and we had our first community engagement on that process last night at the program that will library now have the additional coming out over the next couple of weeks here to the point we'll be able to prepare that for filing a few approval by city council in the near future. And we've had the ability to reach in and develop these administration planning priorities that will positively impact the city's roadhouse neighborhood and moving areas that will be sensitive and not to see the type of attention that they need in the half where we would bring them up for the citizens to be able to enjoy prosperity opportunities here among all residents here in Florida. So we look forward to doing the ongoing work. We're happy to have seen our cohort on housing unit to establish long directorship, which we would need a resource for the city at this time of. And we continue to fill out our staff to its full complement so that we can lean into the needs projects that we have kind of including quite a bit of of federal and state money to grants that would be applied to improving infrastructure throughout the city to improve mobility, connectivity, and multimodal use that we look forward to biomethanegity and moving traffic survey, giving them traffic, and could definitely say the.
There's several initiatives that are ongoing that point to sound economic development strategies.
Well as these natural environments that were good for their survival?
Sorry. I was collaborating with other departments, particularly as we as they had the comprehensive planning process, and we said they can get priorities and forward planning that will be in effect in the city for the next decade.
And is it appropriate to ask questions, or do you wanna finish your presentation, or how would you like to handle this? How are your questions?
