Providence Board of Contract & Supply-Monday, April 22, 2024-2:00 PM
Call to Order and Roll Call
The meeting of the Providence Board of Contract and Supply was called to order. A roll call was conducted, establishing that a quorum of members was present.
Election of Meeting Chairperson
A motion was made and seconded to elect a presiding chairperson for the meeting. The motion carried without objection.
Section B: Opening of Bids
The board opened and read aloud competitive bids for various municipal projects and departmental supply contracts. Following the review of all submitted and unmarked bids, the board voted to refer the bids to the city clerk's office.
Section C: Advertisements
The board took up Section C to consider solicitations and advertisements for city contracts. A motion was approved to authorize the advertisements in Section C as well as the re-advertising of Item 9 from Section B.
Section A: Review and Approvals
The board reviewed Section A matters, amending Item 3 for referral to finance and noting council referrals for Items 3, 7, and 21. Items 1 through 33 as amended were subsequently approved via a roll call vote.
Section D: Approval of Minutes
The board considered the draft minutes from the previous meeting held on April 8, 2024. Hearing no corrections or objections, the board voted to approve the minutes as distributed.

A motion to adjourn the meeting was made and seconded. The motion carried unanimously, and the meeting concluded.
