and is therefore asking that the project be extended for one year based on submission of that request, which they have given in writing, which they did not do the previous time. And I believe they are present virtually and can make that request directly to you. K.

Alright. Now we'll move on to item number two, development plan review case number 2022Dash11, DPR 215 Lloyd Avenue. The applicant is Musa Brown School.
Sure. And, commissioners, a quick introduction. This is a request for development plan review for an amendment to the to the master plan for Moses Brown School. They are they are a school, and they are looking to make some changes to their athletic facilities. This particular change will deal with installation of a scoreboard, and they also on which they intend to have a video component that they will be telling you more about.
In addition, they will also be talking about some improvements that they've made to the athletic facilities, but those do not require any action by you. So they will be mainly talking about the scoreboard and the video component that is included with it. So, yeah, I can turn over to the applicant, and they can tell you more.

Trying that again. Amy Goins, attorney with Arcelotides and Rich in Providence, Rhode Island here tonight on behalf of Moses Brown School. While we get set up, I'll introduce the team here with me. To my left is Ron Dauplish, interim head of school. We also, have Peter Arpin, director of operations at Moses Brown School, as well as AJ Kizakai, director of athletics.
And finally, John Amato, who's a licensed professional engineer working as a consultant on this matter. He's with JJA Sports LLC. As staff explained, tonight, we're here seeking your approval of the amended development plan for Moses Brown School with regard to planned enhancements to the existing athletic facilities at the school, specifically including installation of a scoreboard with video capabilities and updates to the seating area and playing fields. I wanna reiterate as staff did that this application does not include installation of lighting. We may be here before you seeking your approval of, lighting enhancements at a later date, but not tonight.
We have reviewed the staff report and are amenable to the condition of approval regarding operation of the video scoreboard pending the amendments to the zoning ordinance, which are under consideration by the ordinance committee, I believe, next week. And tonight, we just wanna explain why we're here before you proposing to enhance the athletic infrastructure at the school. And this is a resource that will not only benefit most of Brown students, but it will benefit the community at large through the school's outreach and partnerships with local organizations such as the Providence Career Technical Academy. And through the presentation, we also hope you'll see that care has been taken to minimize impacts to the surrounding residential neighbors. So let me get this presentation up.
I'll turn it over to my colleagues, and I will pass out a hard copy of the presentation that you're about to see tonight.
Alright. I'll give it a minute for that presentation to go around. For those online, I'm Rondelle Gleich, interim head of school at Moses Brown. And while this is my first year as interim head of school, this is my fourteenth at Moses Brown. So I'm have been intimately involved in this project and a lot of the pieces that we'll be speaking with you about tonight.
So thanks for having us. We appreciate it. Okay. There we go. So as stated in the introduction, the two key pieces that we come to you about tonight are to install a new scoreboard at Moses Brown as well as an upgraded sound system.
And then I wanna give you the context by talking through the broader projects that these are a part of. So the why the video scoreboard is simple for us, our scoreboard's twenty years old. Increasingly, it's hard to find replacement parts. And when you do find them, they're expensive. And so in doing all the work that I'm about to explain, this seemed like a natural moment for us to update our scoreboard.
And in doing that work, video boards are increasingly becoming the new standard for scoreboard scoreboards. In fact, the Providence School Department recently replaced a number
